At Wright School of Excellence, our child development activities are designed to support every stage of growth—emotionally, physically, socially, and cognitively. From sensory play and fine motor skill-building to group games and early literacy exercises, every activity is purposeful and fun. We create hands-on learning experiences that spark curiosity, build confidence, and help children thrive inside and outside the classroom.

Infant care

6 weeks to 15 mo

At Wright School of Excellence, our infant program is designed to provide a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment where your baby can thrive. From 6 weeks to 15 months, we focus on supporting each child’s developmental milestones—whether it’s tummy time, first words, first steps, or everything in between.

PLAY TIME: Includes Tummy Times, Singing, Waterplay
NAP TIME: We try to stick to the schedule you have at home. They nap when they desire to.
MEAL PLAN: We introduce food as you introduce foods. Let us know so we can update the feeding plan.

Toddler Care

1 to 2 years

        Our toddler program at Wright School of Excellence is all about discovery, movement, and growing independence! At this exciting age, children are curious, active, and eager to explore the world around them. We provide a safe, loving environment where toddlers can build confidence while developing important skills like walking, talking, sharing, and following routines.

PLAY TIME: We do free play, small groups and large groups for learning. Routine is key!
NAP TIME:We nap daily from 12pm-2pm.
MEAL PLAN: We provide breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner. Please let us know any allergies.

Preschool

3 to 5 years

At Wright School of Excellence, our preschool program is designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and prepare children for kindergarten and beyond.

PLAY TIME: We include various subjects in playtime such as early literacy, math, science, social-emotional development, and critical thinking. 
NAP TIME: At this age, many students don’t nap so we use it as rest/quiet time so our friends that want to nap can do so. We rest from 12 pm-2pm daily.
MEAL PLAN: We offer breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner. Please let us know any allergies.

Learning Pod

Kindergarten to 4th grade

The Learning Pod at Wright School of Excellence, is designed to provide a more personalized, enriching educational experience for children in Kindergarten through 4th grade. Rooted in our commitment to spiritual, academic, and social growth, this program offers a safe, supportive space where students can thrive as learners and leaders. Using The Good and the Beautiful curriculum, along with other sources we are proud to lead a movement that returns children to a love of wholesome literature, strong moral values, and creative exploration. Our goal is to nurture not only bright minds, but also kind hearts—empowering each child to grow in confidence, character, and curiosity.

Registration Fee:

We are located in Smyrna, Georgia on the backside of Bethany United Methodist Church. Our school’s intersection is on the corner of Hurt Rd & Hicks Rd.

Yes we do. Our toddler program at Wright School of Excellence is all about discovery, movement, and growing independence! Our toddler program consists of potty training, arts, math and much more.

We are always accepting applications. Just know we are very detailed when it comes to out hiring process. We require at least three years experience and 18 hours of training hours. Bachelor’s in ECE is also desired.

Yes we do! Along with our fun and exciting science and arts, each summer we have add summer camp where the kids go on weekly field trips. We also have Water Wednesdays where the kids get outdoor water play in swimsuits.
